The holidays can be a stressful time for anyone, but this time of year can present unique challenges for people with myositis.

Megan McGowan and Lauren Burgess, occupational therapists with extensive experience working with the myositis community, joined MSU together with myositis patients for a conversation about getting through the holiday season.

Topics we discussed include managing fatigue, travel, meal preparation, conversations with family about myositis, and coping with holiday stress.

This is the official #MyositisLIFE account of Myositis Support and Understanding Association (MSU),  a patient-led, patient-centered, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by myositis patients for myositis patients and caregivers.

MSU is Empowering the Myositis Community through education, support, advocacy, clinical trial matching, financial assistance, and access to research.
